Editorial independence

Our recommendations are not for sale. This is the single most important promise we make.

No paid placements

No vendor can pay to be listed, ranked higher, rated better, or recommended. Support levels and recommendations are editorial judgments derived from cited evidence.

A firewall between money and knowledge

Should dilynx earn revenue in future (for example, referrals or premium tools), that side of the business can read our recommendations but can never change them. The knowledge that drives a recommendation is walled off from any commercial interest.

Where our own research is cited

dilynx grew out of FinanceCopilotHQ, a finance-software research publication we ran before this platform existed. Part of that corpus was carried into the graph, so some vendor pages cite it. It is first-party research — our own work, not an independent third party — and it is labelled first-party everywhere it appears, so you never have to guess which sources are ours and which are not.

It is also weighted accordingly. A capability claim always requires at least one independent source; high confidence requires two or more independent publishers agreeing. Our own research can corroborate a claim — it can never carry one on its own, and it cannot lift a grade by itself.

How you can check us

Every claim links to its source, so you can verify the basis of any recommendation yourself. If a recommendation ever looks influenced by anything other than evidence, that is a bug — please report it.
